Forté Systems’ product users can be assigned their own, specially tailored security level. It determines their access to relevant functions and features and controls information flows to specified personnel.

Our applications are developed to run on the common language runtime and the Microsoft .NET Framework that enforces evidence-based security on all managed code applications. This prevents luring attacks, where unauthorized code calls the code and tricks it into doing something on behalf of the unauthorized code. Our applications that handle sensitive data or make any kind of security decisions keep the data under their own control and protect it from access by other potentially malicious code.
 
Forté Systems applications connect to a secure relational database management system that requires a log-in for each individual user. This system tracks who made exactly what change and when. Once connected to the database, all sensitive data is encrypted using a 192-bit key. Even if an unauthorized user gets to the data, it would be useless due to the encryption. That’s why our clients feel safe and protected, knowing that the only way to view their data is through the application itself.

Secure Claims uses 128 bit SSL encryption on all servers. We are HIPAA compliant and encrypt all our claims using 1024 bit PGP.
